Helping our children to achieve a better life! Working towards a Better Belize! Our children are our future leaders, ministers, teachers, business people…; it is our responsibility to help them to become the success they are destined to be. One way to help our children is to ensure that they achieve their education.

The education rate in Belize is drastically decreasing; especially in the villages. One reason for this is that parents cannot afford to send their children to school.

We were awakened to the harsh reality that most elementary students face. The students of St Barnabas Elementary School of the nearby Central Farm Village complain that their parents cannot afford to provide food, allowance nor school supplies for them to go to school. Most of them go through the entire day without food. As a result, most of them do not make it to Grade eight.

Mayawalk willingly and continuously donate stationeries and other school supplies for students and teachers; provide transportation when needed; and support the feeding program for students.
